Santa's Sleigh

Now that you have your Santa Sleight all drawn out make a duplicate copy CTRL + D. Close the original. Convert all vector layers to raster layers.

Below is the smudge settings I used.

Air brush settings.

" I like to do my shading all on one layer. In the layer palette click the lock to lock the transparency.

Click on the runner layer, apply inner bevel using the round preset.

Bag: Foreground color #26373e background color #9fc7d7. Air brush around edges and lightly in center with foreground color. Air brush off center with background color. Smudge to blend.

Santa and Hat: Foreground color #53171a background color #d66066. Airbrush as in screen shot then smudge to blend. Air brush the tips of arms for gloves with black. Use black to paint on the belt and #e0890c for the buckle.

For the head just use a brown dot for the eye and some pink or peach for his cheeks.

Beard, hat trim: Use #c0c0c0 lightly spray, glaussian blur 1. Apply eye candy 3 jiggle settings as in screen shot. (I couldn't find a link to eye candy 3.) You can use the smudge brush to pull out some strands of hair for fuzzy look. Add new layer and paint some cuffs for him too if you like.

Sleigh: Foreground color #114227 background color #a4cab5. Air brush as in screen shot. smudge to blend.

For the antlers and harness 1 I used the inner bevel Round.

For harness 2 use the same colors you used for Santa. Dark color on edges and lightly on the light color in center.

Reindeer: Foreground color, #5d3426 background color #924e2a. Air brush as in screen shot. Use dark brown for the dot on the eye. Continue on and do the rest of the reindeer.

Adjust/add noise 4 for some extra texture on each reindeer. That's all there is too it.
