Lady
Opal
Here
I go again with
another angel for
Opal.
Feel free to use your own colors for this.
As always with my tutorials the finished graphic is yours.
For this tutorial you will need
Jasc PSP
9 . This was written using 9 but it can be done in 8
or 7 with a
few adjustments.
You can get the alpha channel canvas here.
Airbrush settings.
Smudge settings.
Load
alpha channel wings.
Flood fill with
first color. Use
2nd color for shading
as in screen shot.
Use white in the
middle of wings
for high light.
Smudge to blend.

Load
alpha channel shoes.
Flood fill with
3rd color. Load
alpha channel legs
and arms. Flood
fill with #fcc190 color.
Click back on shoe
layer. Use the darker
blue for shading
as in screen shot.
Smudge to blend.
Use a light blue
to make some poke
a dots (this is
one stylish angel) on
shoe.

Click
on leg and arm layer.
Apply cut out horizontal
and vertical 0,
opacity 100, blur
4, color #926a45.
Use the dark blue
to shade the bottom
of leg smudge to
blend.
Load
head alpha channel,
flood fill with
same color as legs.
Apply cut out change
opacity to 65 and
blur to 20.
Load
dress alpha channel
with #8faefd. Use color
3and 4 on chart
for shading. Use
the light blue for
the high light.
As in screen shot.

Load
ruffle alpha channel
flood fill with
light blue. Lightly
air brush with 4th
color on chart.
Gaussian blur 1.
Load
hat back alpha channel.
Flood fill with
3rd color on
chart. Load hat
band and flood fill
with 5th color.
Load hat front and
flood fill with
3rd color. Click

left hand alpha
channel flood fill
with #fcc190. Apply cut out horizontal and vertical 0, opacity 100, blur 4, color #926a45.
Zoom in to where
you can see the
wrist area and airbrush
so cut out doesn't
show there.
Do the same
for the right hand.
Load
purse alpha channel.
Flood fill with
4th color. Apply
same cut out change
color to #0d1d47.
Use color 5 to add
some poka dots like
you did for the
shoes.
Add
new vector layer.
Click on preset
shape and choose
flower shape. Set
foreground color
to nil and background
color to #a52b2d.
I used some white
for high light and
yellow for center.
Click
on the head layer.
Add new vector layer
name it hair. Use
the pen tool set
on free hand line
size 3. Foreground
color set to black,
background color
set to nil. Draw
your hair any way
you want. This is
how mine turned
out. I used the
inner bevel round
preset.

Add
new vector layer.
Click on preset
shape ellipse. Set
back ground to #a52b2d
foreground set to
nil make a small
round ball click
apply. Set foreground
to same color and
background to nil.
Use size 1 for the
pen tool. Make a
small line to ball.
Convert to
raster layer. I
used Super blade
pro to make it look
like a ruby. LOL
sort of any way.
You can get the
Ruby preset
here
Make
a small round ball
again apply the
same super blade
pro ruby ice preset.
Use this to
make a necklace
for her. Do the
same to make a bracelet
For
her face I just
use the pen tool
set at 1 to make
her nose. Use a
brown color. For
her eyes make a
round ball again
in black and apply
the round inner
bevel preset. For
her lips make a
oval and bring the
top node down to
make it smile.
Hope everyone had fun with this.
