By using this tutorial you agree to my terms We are going to make a few different types of Eggs.
You will need Jasc PSP 7 and can get it here. You will need Jo-Ellen's gradients here. You can get my selections here. Open new image 400X400. Open selection smeggwhole flood fill with one of Jo-Ellen's gradients. Set angle at 135 repeats 0 click on float, use cutout with these settings. Shadow color #808080 Do this again using the minus setting for vertical and horizontal defloat.
Add new layer use paint brush to put highlights on. Gaussian Blur set at 9.
Add new layer click on paint brush the click on custom brush.
If you need some new custom brushes you can get them here at Nanette's Custom Brushes she has some wonderful brushes. I love working with her brushes. Set the style to pattern fill white. All others set to nill.
Here you can get real creative by using different fills. But for this we are just going to use white and then apply Blade Pro. Click on selection/select all. Click on flowers to get the ants going around them. Then apply Blade Pro or your favorite Eye Candy Glass effect. Apply drop shadow set at, vertical and horizontal at 1, opacity 56, blur 3.5. This is what I have so far
Merge all layers visible. As you can see there is a white line around the outside of the egg. Not sure why that happens on light colors. It looks bad to me so we are going to fix it. LOL
Selection/select all, click on egg. Then go to selections/modify/contract 1. selections/modify/feather 2. Invert then hit delete 3 times. An the icky white is gone and you have a smooth clean edge on your egg.
All done for this part. On to page 2 for more eggs.
Hope everyone had fun with this. If you need any help just ask.
